SIREJ team is happy to see the funds raised from the COVID-19 Fundraiser go to help out the Yaguarú community in Bolivia and the Yaguarú School of Music. Below is a video with students from the music school and their instructor, Luis Abel Arienda Bazán. SIREJ would like to thank Mr. Bazán and the students for this heartfelt video and allowing us to be a part of your community. SIREJ raised funds last summer to help alleviate some of the negative health and economic impacts of COVID-19. Donations were then distributed equally to several indigenous communities which included Yaguarú. SIREJ and CIPCA, a local Bolivian NGO, worked together to deliver the donations to the Yaguarú community. With the funds, the community chose to purchase music supplies for the students at the music school.
