Please join Guarani Museum and SIREJ Bolivia on their Facebook pages next Monday at 4-5:30p Oregon time / 7-8:30p Bolivia 🇧🇴 time (links below) to hear from youth and supporters of the “THE GREAT MARCH FOR THE TERRITORY, IDENTITY AND CULTURE” that began Aug 25, 2021 in Bolivia.

Marchers are Indigenous Peoples of the Amazon, Oriente and Chaco which include many of our indigenous partners including Guarayos, Guaraní, and Chiquitano/Monkoxi Indigenous peoples.

Please share and thank you for your support.

“Students for Indigenous Rights and Environmental Justice (SIREJ) and the Guaraní Museum, we see in our communities and territories, the invasion of agro-industrial, livestock and intercultural, which affect us with: clearing, forest fires and the destruction of the forests.
In destroyed and fragmented forests, hunting is no longer possible; our rivers run dry and there are no fish; forest fruit is increasingly scarce in indigenous territories and protected areas. On the other hand, we are all suffering from sudden environmental changes, very cold or high temperatures, torrential rains, increased hurricane force winds and, in a short time, it will be worse, with drought and then floods; for all these situations, we participate in "THE GREAT MARCH FOR THE TERRITORY, IDENTITY AND CULTURE" and the creation of the "PARLIAMENT OF NATIONS INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF THE AMAZON, EAST AND CHACO OF BOLIVIA ”.
Today we need all the support of young people like us, in solidarity of the population with children, women, older adults of the generation of the 90s of the last century who marched for "Dignity and Territory" and who are now part of "THE GREAT MARCH FOR THE TERRITORY, IDENTITY AND CULTURE "”

Thank you
